Denise R. Gooch, MD, MHA, attended Georgetown University School of Medicine, and received his medical degree in 1990. Furthermore, she conducted her internship at Western Reserve University (1990-1991). In addition, she completed her radiology residency (1991-1995) and radiation oncology fellowship (1995-1997) at Ohio State University Hospital, Arthur James Cancer Hospital. Dr. Gooch received board certification in radiation oncology from the American Board of Radiology. She maintains active memberships with several professional societies and associations, such as the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Cancer Society, and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a BS degree in Zoology (George Washington University, 1983) and a Master of Healthcare Administration degree (University of Maryland).
